And finally, no trip to Montreal would be complete without a visit to Schwartz’s Smoked Meat House. Schwartz’s is a Montreal institution, and it’s known for its smoked meat. The meat is cured for 14 days, and it’s then smoked over cherry wood. The smoked meat is then sliced and served on rye bread with mustard.
