I was very happy with my Andean Crossing tour, which I bought through Gray Line, having read some of the reviews online. I am a solo traveler and this was part of my round the world trip involving several countries. I was immediately comfortable with the arrangements as Flavia Lara from Gray Line kindly kept in touch and guided me on where and how to meet. I flew from Buenos Aires to Santiago, Chile and then on to Puerto Montt and then took a bus to Puerto Varas. On the morning of departure, the associated group, TurisTour, took care of our group with military efficiency. The tour was amazing. It was not luxurious but that was reflected in the very competitive price. The crossing from Chile to Bariloche in Argentina involved three boat and four bus journeys, crossing three lakes from Chile to Argentina. We had four guides along the way explaining and guiding us. The scenery along the way was breathtaking. At one point we climbed a mountain separating Chile from Argentina, along an unmade up, gravel road with hairpin bends. I saw trees and birds unfamiliar to me and the landscape was beautiful. The whole experience was great, so much so that I am looking for something similar for the end of this year. Natasha Cox
