We booked a tour for the Eagle’s Nest, but didn’t actually get to see the Eagle’s Nest due to rock fall circumstances that day. We were already on the bus leaving Munich when we all found out we were not going to be able to go up to see Eagle’s Nest. Lottie, our guide, was amazing though. She was very informative and still brought us to the Berchtesgaden area which had stunning landscapes. The history of the area made the trip interesting as well as the shots of whiskey the tour offered when we arrived in the area. The Dokumentation Center is a must if you’re a WW2 history buff and the restaurant there offers typical Bavarian dishes which we enjoyed. Lotte gave us refunds for the tickets we paid. Though we were initially disappointed, we were happy that we got to see the mountains outside of Munich and still experienced the history of the area.

Very good, well worth a visit. Ursula the guide was very knowledgeable and informative. The bus was comfortable and airy. Unfortunately on the day of our visit the weather was wet and cloudy which did away with any views. For this reason if doing a visit ensure the weather is good for the full effect, but still worth a visit.

Everything was perfect. We loved our guide Lotte, she was very knowledgeable and kind. The tour is very interesting! Specially the documentation center and the bunker. The Eagles's nest is worth it since it is an impressive architecture project and has impressive views from the top. Totally recommended.

It was an excellent tour but we had a really large group. It was also expensive having to pay extra for a separate bus to take us to the top of the mountain. Very worthwhile to see the Eagle’s Nest, though The view is very beautiful.

On the normal tour you don't get long at the eagles nest and they take for lunch at the restaurant in the by the coach park and on to the demolished house of Hitler or the document centre when it reopens. We wanted to have lunch at the eagles nest and not have to rush so our rep let us change our return trip down to the coach park for a later one so we had a good meal. The restaurant in the coach park has a very limited menu it's the second time we have done this trip last time was 11 years ago and the restaurant menu hasn't got any better I don't see the point in looking at an area that Hitler's house stood therefore we would have sat around for hours waiting to get back on the coach maybe it's to reduce the numbers at the eagles nest I can't really say but we had a good day and the scenery on the return trip is fantastic.
