Our day tour is full of great sites and views. We will drive along the Mediterranean Sea via the coastal highway. Our first stop will be at Caesarea, once the largest city in Judea. Here, on the ruins of an ancient anchorage, Herod built a splendid port that he dedicated to Augustus Caesar. The 3000 seats Roman theatre with wonderful acoustics is still used today for summer concerts. The remains of the Crusader City, the Hippodrome, a Byzantine street with giant headless statues, and the Roman Aqueduct are also part of the archaeological finds at the site. We will continue to Acre to visit the Knights Halls, the crusader's underground city, and the authentic white market with some oriental food and spices. UNESCO has recognized this ancient route as a World Heritage site. We Continue to Rosh Hanikra, the border pass to Lebanon, to visit the lovely caves created by the sea waves. We will end our day with a visit to Haifa. We stop for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Haifa Bay and the golden-domed Bahai Shrine, part of the exotic Persian Gardens. At the end of the day, we return to the pick up hotel.
