Our outing begins with an exploration of Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site where the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia are pulling apart, which means you can literally stand between the two continents in the middle of nowhere. The Blue Lagoon was closed but we got a refund for that part and went on the Golden Circle tour only (with Darren and Helgi). They have a lot of experience and everything was perfect. I would love to take another tour with them.

We booked the Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon tour. The Golden Circle element was brilliant and Michael and Isak were great hosts for the day and clearly enthusiastic about their jobs. We didn't feel rushed and felt we had sufficient time at each attraction. However, we were slightly disappointed at the lack of organisation for the Blue Lagoon element of the day. We were left to our own devices at the Bus Hostel with no real explanation as to how the timings worked, what class of ticket we had into the Blue Lagoon, how long we would have at the Lagoon nor what time we should be back at the bus stop for the return bus to Reykjavik. Whilst we did enjoy the Lagoon itself, it would have been nice to have a Gray Line member of staff at the Lagoon for us. Luckily we walked around and found a bus timetable, but this would've been useful information to have on our tickets.

I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to go on this trip, it is a must!! It was an amazing day out to see everything. The tour guide was so lovely and very knowledgable. We thoroughly enjoyed. There’s also enough stops in cafes/shops for food, drinks, toilet stops etc.

A great deal if you're in a rush - a day exploring some of the most iconic sites of Iceland.
