Absolutely incredible trip. Black sand beach was my favourite. Our guide was lovely, knowledge, friendly and warm. We had the right amount of time at each spot and he had lots of interesting things to tell us about each stop

We had an amazing day! We booked this tour last minute as a lot of our tours were cancelled due to the weather and it did not disappoint. The booking team were so helpful and managed to bring our other booking forward with only an hours notice which freed up our day to do the south coast tour. Karin our tour guide was absolutely brilliant! She was funny, informative and shared so many interesting and fun facts about Iceland. The waterfalls were stunning! The mountains/terrain were truly awe inspiring and the Reynisfjara black sand beach was truly something to behold. I would 100% recommend this tour but also recommend listening to the guides stern advice about the beach. The waves are extremely turbulent and the guides are very direct when advising to stay away from the water. Frustratingly, there are those who don’t listen despite the advice of the guides which will eventually ruin the opportunity to see this beautiful beach in the future. The only gripe was the windows were dirty and we couldn’t see much out of them. Would be worth equipping the buses with squeegees to give them a wipe when they get dirty from the snow.

The itinerary was super. Darren and Bjossi (Beyoncé for short😉) were great. Darren was super informative and knowledgeable about both the history of Iceland and the present. The weather cut short the time we could spend at each spot, but they made sure we covered as much as possible before safely dropping us back in the city. Overall, Grayline. tours have been great with their plans and itineraries. However, I need to mention about bus itself. We found ourselves in the last row and it got super chilly at the back. Also there was condensation and water droplets dripping on us, which made us little uncomfortable. The nice part was they increased the bus temperature but still feel this needs a mention.

Communication with Gray Line was excellent! I had to change plans a couple of times and they were always accommodating and replied quickly. The tour itself was great and saw some incredible things! The guide was lovely and shared some interesting information about Iceland. There were plenty of toilet and food stops along the way however, the first toilet break wasn't for about 1 hour and 20 mins into the journey so make sure you don't need it getting on the bus. Drop off and pick up also went smoothly!

Great way to explore the South Coast with a fantastic guide. The long journey was made very comfortable with ongoing commentary and storytelling, well timed comfort breaks and incredible scenery. The sightseeing stops were excellent with great facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff.
