Your day tour will start with a great ride along the coastal road, traveling by the Mediterranean Sea. We drive via the Plain of Armageddon to the city of Nazareth. Our first stop in Nazareth will be at the Church of the Annunciation, the most impressive and spectacular site in the city, considered as one of the most holy churches for Christianity. The Church’s lower level contains the Grotto of the Annunciation, which is believed by Catholics to be the remains of Mary’s childhood home. We continue by foot through the town of Nazareth to visit the Church of St. Joseph’s Carpentry, believed to be the sight of Joseph’s carpentry workshop. From Nazareth we proceed via Cana for an overview of the Mount of Beatitudes, where according to tradition, Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Our next stop will be to the Church of the Multiplication in Tabgha, where Jesus carried out the miracle of the loaves and fishes. We continue for a visit to Capernaum, an ancient fishing village, it is home to a celebrated Byzantine-era synagogue, also known as the house where Jesus healed a paralytic and St. Peter’s mother-in-law. Overlooking Tiberias, we proceed to the site of baptismal on the Jordan River – Yardenit, where there is an optional baptismal service. At the end of the day we return to the pick up hotel. See less
