Overall, it was a good tour. Even though there were about 70 of us, our guide Pedro managed to keep us all on schedule. The bus was comfortable and all the arrangements were good. The Castles are quite magnificent and well worth seeing. But the castle tours themselves were very short and felt a bit rushed, probably due to the high demand. The approx. 2 hour ride each way was a bit boring at times, probable because Pedro only shared facts relevant to the destinations.

Even in winter, Neuschwanstein didn't disappoint. As we expected, the tour only stopped at 2 of the 3 castles (Neuschwanstein and Linderhof), but the visit was still more than worthwhile. It snowed when we got to Neuschwanstein, so alas we were not able to go to the Marienbrucke. The snow let up when we finished the tour, and we were able to see the bridge when we exited. Monika (our tour guide) was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure to help everyone find what they needed at each stop (especially lunch at Neuschwanstein). She also handled everything diligently and efficiently, making sure all tickets/passengers knew exactly where to be, and when, so that everyone could participate in the tours. Such care for details, and attentiveness to guests was greatly appreciated. Draga (our driver) handled everything professionally, and provided a safe and sound journey. We would highly recommend this tour, and our gracious hosts. Thanks!
