A well organised tour which meant we didn't have to do the logistics ourselves. Adrian was a very informative guide who kept us entertained the whole trip. Neuschwanstein was amazing and the tours were informative.

Well-organized tour! This is the best way to visit Neuschwanstein Castle with the added bonus of Linderhof Castle and the quaint little town of Oberammergau. If everyone in the tour group sticks to the time schedule at all the stops, the tour will visit all 3 places and return to Munich at the promised time. Otherwise, Oberammergau is skipped. If the weather is great (no snow, not very windy), then there is an added bonus of visiting the Marienbrucke to take that iconic photo of Neuschwanstein Castle. We learnt so much from the excellent tour guides at the castles who provided plenty of information. On the other hand, the bus tour guide could have spoken louder, as it was difficult to hear him, even over the speakers. Perhaps some of the other visitors in our tour group were loud and chatty but those are factors beyond our control. Tour Bus transportation is very convenient as it takes you straight to all these places that are more difficult to reach by train. It is important to note that there is a lot of walking at Neuschwanstein (hills and steps), so it is not suitable for anyone who has difficulty walking. The meeting place in Munich is in a very central location. This tour is highly recommended!

I highly recommend using Gray Line Tours and this trip to Neuschwanstein, Linderhof Palace and Oberammerqau. Both Linderhof and Neuschwanstein were spectacular. The walk up to Neusch was quite a hike. Shuttles were not running, so we had to walk the entire path. It's paved, but it's steep. We stopped often to catch our breath. There is a horse drawn carriage, but the wait is almost an hour. The walk is an hour, so it might balance itself out. Our tour guide was amazingly helpful with his instructions and presence. I highly recommend this tour and this company. They're reliable and efficient.

The tour was well organized and on time. Johnny, our guide, was courteous and knowledgeable. Due to timing, we did not stop at Oberammergau, which was OK with us as it gave us more time. We did drive through it and could enjoy its charm from the comfort of the bus. Also, due to weather, the bridge and the shuttles to the castle were closed. This was not a major issue for us but could be for others. If the stop at Oberammergau had been included and the bridge at Neuschwanstein had been open, I could see where timing could be a big issue. Even with those, it was a bit of a scurry to get back to the bus on time.

We had a wonderful time visiting the castles. The scenic drive was beautiful as well. We were lucky that it had just snowed.
