Make your Christmas an unforgettable day with a beautiful day trip from London to four of the UK’s most iconic locations – the historical Salisbury, the enigmatic Stonehenge, the charming Bath and the lovely Windsor. All this as you also get to enjoy a delectable Christmas lunch!

Salisbury
Your first stop of the day will be the historical town of Salisbury, which boasts one of the finest Gothic cathedrals in Britain. This stunning piece of architecture, depicted many a time by painter John Constable, has had the tallest church spire in the UK since 1549! Marvel at this iconic site and enjoy it to the fullest as you attend the cathedral’s Eucharist service on Christmas Day.

Stonehenge
Your coach will be driving past the ancient monument of Stonehenge. Situated on Salisbury Plain, this ring of standing stones makes for a formidable skyline. Abundance of theories surround Stonehenge – from the possibility of it being a religious temple to an astronomical clock and even a Bronze Age burial ground, it's a mystery that to this day continues to fascinate the world.

Traditional Christmas lunch
Take a break and tuck into a traditional (and delicious) three-course Christmas lunch! Complete with all the trimmings, your meal will include a glass of wine and a choice of either tea or coffee.

Bath
The beautiful city of Bath stands proudly on the slopes of the River Avon. Designated in its entirety as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bath was the first city in England to receive this prestigious title. Take in Bath Abbey, which saw the coronation of the first British King in 973AD, and marvel at the famous Pulteney Bridge, modelled on the Florentine Ponte Vecchio.

Windsor
The last stop of the day will be a walking tour of the lovely market town of Windsor. Known for being home to one of Queen Elizabeth II’s favourite residences, Windsor is a quintessentially British location – your guide will be taking you on a picturesque walking tour of this town at dusk!
