Enjoy this guided city tour of Salvador, home to beautiful Baroque-style architecture. After pick up from the hotels, we head to Santo Antonio da Barra Fort, built in 1536 to protect the Bay of All Saints. 162 years later it gained a lighthouse to guide the boats coming to the coast, the "Farol da Barra", which still works to the present day. Then we will visit São Diogo Fort, from where you have an incredible view of All Saints Bay. We will pass the Corridor da Vitória, Largo do Campo Grande (one of the circuits of the carnival), and 7 de Setembro Avenue. From there we will continue our tour to the Pelourinho (Historic Center of Salvador), stopping at Municipal Square which has a panoramic view of the Lower City (Lacerda Elevator, Commerce, Salvador Harbor and Mercado Modelo) and stop at Sé Square, a place that keeps ruins of the first Basilica of Brazil located next to Salvador's first Archbishop's Palace. We continue the City Tour towards Largo do Pelourinho, where there is the Rosário dos Pretos Church and the Jorge Amado House Foundation. We head to the São Francisco Church and Convent, considered one of the most unique and rich expressions of Brazilian Baroque. Then we will have a stop for a delicious optional lunch buffet with tasty local food (not included).
After lunch we will start the panoramic tour through the Lacerda Elevator and Modelo Market with stop for shopping. Then we will go to the Church of Our Lord of Bonfim (Most Devoted Saint of Bahia), take the opportunity to tie your ribbons with 03 wishes and make your prayers. We will meet the new Orla da Ribeira and you will have the option to try the eccentric flavors of the famous Ribeira Ice Cream. Have you ever tried tapioca ice cream?
From there, we will visit the Mont Serrat Fort (Important 17th Century building) where we will have one of the most beautiful views of the city of Salvador. We will continue to the Dyke of Tororó with 08 sculptures of the most important Orixás of the African Religion, the work of Baiano Artist Tati Moreno. Take a panoramic view of this place and of the modern Fonte Nova Soccer Arena.
Finally, return to the bus that will take passengers back to their respective hotels.
