With my Purchase I had two separate tours. One of the Acadamia and one of the Uffizi Gallery. One of the things I loved about the service as a whole of the tour agency is even when someone was running a little late they would call their phone to see where they were and help direct them if needed to the meet up point. Now as for the tours I absolutely loved my morning tour of the Acadamia the tour guide was engaging and still left plenty of time to see what was to be seen as well as made some suggestions of other parts of the museum that were not covered in the tour we were on but we were welcome to see as part of our entry into the Acadamia. My disappointment was with the afternoon tour of the Uffizi. The tour guide seemed distracted and uninteresting. She was not engaging and at times even seemed to just be repeating Art History by rote. As a tour guide she needs to be engaging with the whole crowd and not be so dry in her presentation. It is because of this experience I cannot provide a 5 star rating of the product itself. My suggestion would be that the tour company when hiring what seemed to be an independent guide that they occasionally take the tours themselves to see how the guide presents the information prior to hiring them. Plus if they do not meet the standards they wish to represent I would suggest avoid hiring the same guide again.
