Our knowledgeable tour guide and driver, Tim, took us to Richmond, where we toured the Gaol (jail) and visited the town briefly. He shared interesting details all along the journey, saving the most time for the highlight of our trip, the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary! What a delightful time we had petting and feeding kangaroos and learning about wombats, Tasmanian Devils, koalas, and other wildlife. A must do tour!

Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary is a fantastic place to visit and Richmond was also an unexpected gem (I recommend visiting the historic gaol site for an extra small fee while visiting)

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the animal refuge - getting to see the kangaroos up close and personal was an experience we will not easily forget.
