Beautiful Scottish highlands that just have to be seen. A steam train ride that must be experienced. Very demanding and fast for one day. Unfortunately, if you get seats on the right side of the train - you don't see much and you don't take any pictures. For the same price seats on the left with beautiful views ' for us on the right disappointing. Stewardess was unfocused, therefore interesting places reported late while you were away. You can't buy anything on the train because the 3rd class operator won't be able to come and you're not allowed to walk on the train. I rate the bus positively if you are not travelling with fellow passengers who are closing their curtains while on a sightseeing trip. We're delighted to have done this tour, but for the second time we'd probably be opting for our own way of exploring the beautiful highlands.

The Highlands and Loch Ness tour was an amazing day, from the amusing commentary by our driver Brian, the well appointed facilities of the bus (on board loo) and the beautiful countryside that we were shown. Do recommend budgeting a few extra pounds to do the Loch Ness cruise.
