The Maquiné Grotto, located in the city of Cordisburgo, home to Paleontology, Speleology and Archeology of America, houses seven large halls open to public visits totaling 650 linear meters and a drop of only 18 meters, where serials and soap operas have already been filmed. The preparation of lighting and walkways allow visitors to see the wonders of the cave through a route fully accompanied by a local guide. In the annex there is a Museum with archaeological finds of the region, found and studied by the Danish Peter Lund.
After the visit in the Maquiné Cave, we will take a stroll to the Guimarães Rosa Museum, located in Cordisburgo, which today houses a great collection of the writer's life and work - and where he lived with his family from birth in 1908 to the 9 years old. Return to Belo Horizonte scheduled for late afternoon. See less
